KABUL, Afghanistan (Nov. 1)
– An Afghan National Security and International Security Assistance Force patrol arrested a wanted insurgent during a dismounted patrol in Maidan Shahr district, Wardak province, Wednesday.

The target was wanted for leading a cell of approximately 50 foreign fighters, serving as a suicide-attack facilitator and leading small-arms and improvised explosive device attacks against ANSF and ISAF.

The man was arrested without incident on a Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan warrant. He was taken in to custody by Afghan security forces for questioning.
