ISAF Investigates Shooting Incident in Northern Afghanistan |

KABUL, Afghanistan (Feb. 18) – An individual wearing an Afghan National Army uniform fired at International Security Assistance Forces working on a vehicle in northern Afghanistan today, killing one ISAF service member.
The outpost where the incident occurred is in Pul-e Khumri district of Baghlan province.
ISAF service members returned fire, critically injuring the shooter.
ISAF is investigating the incident.
It is ISAF policy to defer casualty identification procedures to the relevant national authorities. |
