Forces in TAAC South Train, Advise and Assist the Afghanistan National Security Forces through Security Force Assistance and integration of effects in order to develop long-term ANSF sustainability and posture the force for Resolute Support in 2015.

Police Advisory Team: A team of advisors dedicated to providing expert advice and counsel to the Afghan National Police in southern Afghanistan.
451st Air Expeditionary Wing
Mission: The 451st AEW provides a persistent and powerful airpower presence in the Afghanistan area of operations, to include tactical airlift, close air support, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, command and control, airborne datalink, combat search and rescue, casualty evacuation and aeromedical evacuation capabilities whenever and wherever needed. The 451st AEW is located at Kandahar Airfield, Kandahar International Airport.
